“My husband and I used the Admiral Steakhouse as a caterer for our
wedding at the Maine Maritime Museum. We couldn’t have been happier
with the way it all turned out. Joe was wonderful in helping us figure
out a fabulous meal that fit our budget and how he was able to feed
175 people at an outdoor wedding from a couple of grills and get them
all fed so quickly was amazing. He also provided bar service
recommending some local Maine beers that were a big hit with our
guests.
The staff was wonderful and even made us a couple of plates and
covered them with tinfoil to leave at our table so that when we had a
minute we could sit and taste the delicious food! I have no doubt that
if they had not done that we wouldn’t have had a chance to eat that
night!
Joe was very helpful in organizing all of our table linens and was
able to provide them much cheaper than any of the places I had
researched. He went out of his way to get me samples of the napkin
colors so that I could make everything match. He made the whole
process so easy and non stressful which is all a bride can ask for! I
would recommend the Admiral Steakhouse for any catering needs!”

“Our son was married on October 1, 2011. We wanted the rehearsal dinner some where that was going to be able to offer us a delicious meal, warm and comfortable atmosphere, and waitstaff that would be efficient and friendly.
We found exactly what we were looking for when we hired Joe Byrnes to handle the dinner. The room we had was elegant without being stuffy. We had 38 people attend, there was plenty of room yet somehow it was very cozy so we could visit with everyone.
The food was terrific starting with the appetizers right through to the dessert.
The waitstaff was very attentive to all our needs, and they were very professional.
I really don’t think that we could have gone anywhere else and got the food, atmosphere, and service that we received for the price we paid.
